DUAL ACCUMULATOR

DESCRIPTION

The Dual Side by Side two up Accumulator system is the only system of it's type, that simultaneously collates multiple page sets prior to folding. This process can either run in a non intelligent (non read) batch mode by collating same set sizes. Or by collating varying page sized sets, independently per side, in an intelligent reading (OMR, BCR, 2D) manner. The material transfer process eliminates the maintenance intensive marble racks associated with two up transports, and additionally provides staging rollers for accurate material registration prior to folding. The staging process speeds up document throughput which equates to greater two up production.

Optional features can be added to make the drive system fully independent from the Folder drive system, as well as adding Turbo Stepper drives to add even more durability to the staging section.
